This first ever national festival celebrating Community Railways.

Structure of the Community RailFest

Friday September 23rd - Norwich

  • 'Marketing Community Rail' ACoRP national conference
  • Community Rail Awards Gala Dinner, Norwich

Saturday September 24th

  • Wide range of community events hosted by the Community Rail Partnerships in Norfolk
  • Station gala at Norwich
  • Events at Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Cromer
  • Special train from London to Norwich and back hauled by locomotive 87.019 'ACORP'

Sunday September 25th

  • Loco-hauled trains on Lowestoft or Yarmouth lines
  • More community events

Community Rail Awards
