Stakeholder’s views on the way forward in respect of Potters Bar and Grayrigg accidents
Following publication of the Rail Accident Investigation’s report into the Grayrigg accident on 23 October 2008, Secretary of State sought views (19 November 2008) from affected parties on the way forward in respect of Potters Bar and Grayrigg accidents. The documents attached contain their views on the way forward in relation to both accidents.

Channel Tunnel Safety Authority
The Channel Tunnel Safety Authority is an independent, bi-national body that reports through the Channel Tunnel Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) to both the UK and French Governments, on all matters relating to safety in the operation of the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link.
