The EUNET 2.0 Freight and Logistics Model Final Report
Executive Summary
The purpose of this study is to:
- provide the specification of an integrated regional economic and logistic model of the transport of goods
- outline the manner in which this model has been implemented in a pilot study for a specific area comprising the regions of the North West and Yorkshire and the Humber. This model is named as EUNET version 2.0 (or EUNET2.0)
- document the calibration of the model
- test the model through a future year run in 2016 and through appropriate sensitivity tests
- make recommendations on the tasks required to extend this pilot model to produce freight models for other regions and a National Freight Model to cover the whole of Great Britain.
