Aviation safety
The Government and the Safety Regulation Group recognise that aviation safety needs constant vigilance by regulators and industry alike. They believe that the development of objective-based regulations, where appropriate, has the potential to improve significantly safety levels by requiring operators to implement Quality Assurance Systems and by encouraging the use of formal Safety Management Systems.
