Decision on adding capacity at Heathrow airport

In the 2003 Air Transport White Paper, the Government set out its support - in principle - for a third runway at Heathrow airport, subject to meeting strict local environmental conditions and on public transport access. 

The Secretary of State has now announced his decisions following consultation, the details of which are set out below.
