Atlantic Odyssey Challenge Rowers in Capsize Drama

UPDATE: At 01.10 am the Panamanian General Cargo Vessel Nord Taipei rescued the six crew of the Sara G from their liferaft. All six are reported unharmed and as well as can be expected after spending 14 hours in a liferaft in rough seas. The vessel is bound for Gibraltar with an ETA of 9th February. The crew will coordinate recovery of the vessel. read more..

Nothing Found in Search for Missing Yachtsman

The search for a man feared missing overboard from a yacht near Arran resumed at first light today. Clyde Coastguard has been coordinating the search since yesterday afternoon. The yacht Cena was found by a fishing vessel yesterday about 2 miles north of Arran with no one aboard. Following the search yesterday, the search recommenced this morning.  read more..
