LED individual safety lights - SOLAS Lifejackets lights – Spare kits for safety lights and survival suits.

The manufacturer “Dauriac Nautic Sécurité” has issued a safety notice alert as a consequence of a defect on LED safety lights.  As such, the manufacturer has undertaken to issue a recall of a number of products as a precaution.

Only LED lights made between 20 June 2005 and 31 July 2007 are affected by the manufacturer’s recall.

The date is indicated on the base of the light: i.e.  M09/O5 shows that it was made in September 2005. Products affected by the recall are:

• Specific product references:  301656, 301721, 53270, 29367 and DA 006 either purchased individually or with the following products:

• Inflatable SOLAS lifejackets  - reference: DNS SOLAS 301648, 301649
• Lifejacket Clop SOLAS – Challenger model.

• Lifejacket/Buoyancy aid – DNS SOLAS reference DA 040A, DA 040C
• Plastimo SOLAS reference: 27723, 27724
• Clop SOLAS Meltem and Mistral models.

• Manoverboard rescue system (Inflatable) –
• Plastimo reference 40203, 53481
• XM reference: 177787, 177788

• Replacement kits: SOLAS kits reference: 53271, 28313

MOB kits reference: 176284, 40204, 53483
