Maritime Health Seminar 2010

Vision and Hearing: Progress and Practice

This year's Seminar focussed on Vision and Hearing - both topics which are central to maritime safety and where the ENG 1 medical plays an essential part in ensuring fitness.

We also had guest speakers regarding certification of RFA seafarers by ADs and a presentation regarding work on Fast Craft and RIBs.  Dr Tim Carter hosted the day and provided key information regarding the medical fitness standards and audit issues.
