MLC Shipowner Training 2011/12

The MCA has run a series of two day training programmes for the Maritime Industry, with a view to educating shipowners on the UK requirements of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006.

The courses have been well attended and from feedback to date, shipowners  have found it useful, and are now better informed on the new requirements;  consequently they are better able to prepare for MLC inspections to be carried out by the MCA.

Some shipowners are also taking advantage of the pre-ratification MLC inspections being offered by the MCA to UK shipowners in the forthcoming months;  for more information contact your local MCA Marine Office. (Click here for details) or email us at :
