CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGERS
Once an owner/manager decides to proceed with UK registration, MCA appoint a Customer Service Manager (CSM). The CSM is a fully qualified surveyor who will oversee the smooth transfer to the UK Register. The CSM will ensure that the necessary certificates are issued, provide technical advice, resolve any difficulties and guide the customer through the transfer process. The appointment of a CSM is not just for transfer to the UK Register but will continue as long as the company has a ship registered with the UK. Thus any subsequent issues or concerns the Company may have can be channelled through the CSM who will be familiar with the Company and will thus be able to resolve or assist the Company as and when required.
