Official Log Books

All large commercial yachts are required to maintain an Official Log Book by the Merchant Shipping (Official Log Books) Regulations 1981, as amended in 1985, 1991 and 1997. Electronic copies of these regulations are not yet available from the MCA.

The Regulations also lay down the various entries required to be made.
