FIRST SEA LORD OF THE ROYAL NAVY AND CHIEF OF THE FRENCH NAVY VISIT THE MARITIME AND COASTGUARD AGENCY
On Friday 9 March, John Astbury, Chief Executive and Peter Dymond. Chief Coastguard were pleased to be able to host an informal visit to the Headquarters of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency by Admiral Sir Jonathan Band KCB ADC – First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff and Admiral Alain Oudut De Danville – Chief of the French Navy.

It was an informal visit, with an opportunity to discuss the MCAs counter pollution measures and a demonstration of the Agencys AIS (Automatic Identification System) technology.
John Astbury, Chief Executive said:
We were pleased to be able to host a visit to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency headquarters and demonstrate AIS and discuss our counter pollution measures.
We value the strong relationships that we have with both the Royal Navy and the French Navy.
