International SAR Co-operation Plans Index

To go to the Index, click here (last updated 17th May 2013).

SOLAS Regulation V/7.3 requires passenger ships to carry plans for co-operation with search and rescue (SAR) services. Copies of the plans are held by all relevant SAR services or, for passenger ships which trade through many SAR regions, by a SAR data provider. Please see the MSC Circular Guidelines for preparing plans for co-operation between SAR services and passenger ships for further details.

The International SAR Co-operation Plans Index is provided to enable users to identify the SAR data provider for each ship’s plan.

Please note that only ships which trade internationally are listed here. For details of ships trading only in the UK SAR region, contact any UK Coastguard centre, or refer to MSN 1783.

Ships are listed alphabetically by name. Also listed are the ship’s radio callsign; her Maritime Mobile Service Identity; the name of the company operating the ship (as defined in SOLAS Regulation IX/1); and the name and 24-hour contact telephone number of the SAR data provider holding the ship’s SAR co-operation plan.

Please use the 'find' button or scroll to locate particular entries.
