JourneyWeb uses a systematic versioning scheme in line with e-Gif standards.
To use the JourneyWeb schema you may either a reference the URL for the appropriate version, or use a local copy held on your own machine, which you can downloaded from this site. Note that from Version 2.4, the schema itself is split into more than one file.
The current version is 2.2 (also known as 2.1.01c) which has been stable since 2003.
Version 2.4c (Dec 2011) is a discussion draft to support accessibility and other features and may be subject to further changes. There are no firm plans or timelimes yet for its deployment.
