Recruitment statistics


The Agency has recruitment systems in place to ensure that individuals are selected on merit and on the basis of fair and open competition, in accordance with the principles for recruitment set out in the Civil Service Commissioners' Recruitment Code.

 

The table below shows the number of staff appointed to the Agency in 2004 -2005 by grade, gender and terms of employment. The table also shows those recruits who declared that they belong to an ethnic minority group and/or have a disability. The permitted exceptions to the open competition and selection on merit rules were used on 1occasion.
