Commercial Services Group

Commercial Services Group (CSG) draws together commercial activity for DVLA. CSG is the Agency’s area of expertise in procurement having responsibility and authority for:

• Managing a number of large strategic contractual relationships, including PACT (IBM), Post Office, Estates, Wheel-clamping, Tax Disc, Vehicle Registration and Driving Licence documents on behalf of the Agency
• Managing all competitive tendering exercises from identification of need through to award of contract and debriefing of tenderers
• The purchase of quality goods and services, including mission critical products essential to the workings of the Agency
• Issuing contracts to those purchasing the Agency’s data and services on a commercial basis
• Providing support and advice on procurement policy and strategy
• Ensuring, wherever possible, all purchases adhere to and comply with Government, DfT and DVLA environmental and sustainable development policies
