For the purposes of the Data Protection Act the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency is the data controller for information you are about to access.

When you extract information you must keep it secure or destroy it when it has served its purpose.

Personal Data About You

For each online session we will gather information relating to the identity of the user, the time of use and the accesses made. This information will be used for administration and security purposes.

If you gain access to data to which you or your employer are not entitled, due to our error or yours, you have no authority to use it and must notify us immediately (help desk 0300 123 0793). Data to which you are not entitled includes,in particular, data relating to a vehicle which is no longer or never has been in your holding.

MISUSE IS ILLEGAL, OFFENDERS ARE LIABLE TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

ONLY PROCEED IF YOU ARE AUTHORISED TO DO SO.

Actions including legal proceeedings may be taken against you for :-

• Any unauthorised access or unauthorised modifications to this system
• Any misuse or unauthorised disclosure of the personal data on this system
• Any unauthorised copying of materials held on this system
