Driving examiner recruitment

The minimum criteria is that a full UK or EU driving licence has been held for the last four years with no more than three penalty points currently on it.

You don’t need to be a driving instructor before becoming an examiner. DSA looks for all sorts of people to join its workforce.

In particular, DSA wants people:

  • with strong interpersonal skills
  • with a positive attitude towards safe driving
  • the ability to be a good team player
  • the ability to to make sound judgments.

There are a range of working patterns available for DSA staff, including various options for part-time workers.
