The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FoIA) came into force on 1 January 2005 and applies to all public authorities, including the Driving Standards Agency. The act provides two general rights – the right to be told whether information exists and to request access to all that information.
The Knowledge and Information – FOI team deals with requests received under the Freedom of Information Act (FOI), Data Protection Act (DPA) and the Environmental Information Regulations.
