Consultation into the potential impacts of permitting an increase in the permitted length of articulated lorries to 18.75 metres while maintaining all other regulations, including the 44 tonne gross vehicle weight limit. This would allow an increase to the cubic volume of loads carried by articulated lorries and the possible introduction of safer aerodynamic fronts.
