Consultation on proposed amendment to the Civil Aviation (Working Time) Regulations 2004
On 13 April 2004 the Civil Aviation (Working Time) Regulations 2004 ("the Regulations") entered into force, transposing the provisions of Council Directive 2000/79/EC on the organisation of working time for mobile workers in civil aviation into UK legislation. One of the key elements of this new social measure was the establishment of an annual working time limit of 2,000 hours for aircrew, which includes all of their time spent on standby duty.

Consultation on Nationally significant Rail Infrastructure projects: designation of Approved Operators
Consultation on a draft Order which designates Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd and Network Rail(CTRL) Ltd as approved operators for the purposes of the Planning Act 2008. As a result, construction or alteration of a railway that is part of a network operated by these companies becomes a nationally significant infrastructure project as defined by section 14 of the Act. Draft: The Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) (Amendment) Regulations 2009
Proposed amendments to the Light dues Regulations by increasing light dues rates for merchant vessels calling at ports in the UK and Ireland; with adjustments to the caps on the maximum chargeable tonnage, from 35,000 to 50,000nrt, and the annual number of chargeable voyages, so that a vessel will not be required to pay light dues after a ninth payment in the year rather than the current seven.

Continuous Enforcement of Motor Insurance

This document is draft statutory Guidance to support local authorities in producing Local Transport Plans. It applies to local authorities outside of London required to produce a Local Transport Plan under the Transport Act 2000, as amended by the Local Transport Act 2008. The first and second round of Local Transport Plans (LTPs) cover 2001-06 and 2006-11. This Guidance applies to all LTPs after these rounds and has effect until further guidance is produced.

Designation of the Olympic Route Network
This consultation document seeks views on proposals for the roads to be included in the Olympic Route Network (ORN), to be designated by the Secretary of State for Transport by statutory instrument. The ORN will be a network of roads - primarily in London, but including links to venues outside London - to be used by athletes and Games officials during the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
