Resource Accounts

Under the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000, the Department is required to prepare resource accounts for each financial year in conformity with the Treasury direction, detailing the resource acquired, held or disposed of during the year and the use of resources by the Department during the year.

The Resource Accounting team in the Group Financial Accounting Division (GFAD) is responsible for preparing this document.

Below are the DfT Resource Accounts for each year since DfT split from the Department for Transport, Local government and the Regions (DTLR) on 28 May 2002.
